Waratahs:

15. Adam Ashley-Cooper, 14. Atieli Pakalani, 13. Tom Kingston, 12. Tom Carter, 11. Peter Betham, 10. Berrick Barnes, 9. Brendan McKibbin, 8. Wycliff Palu, 7. Jono Jenkins, 6. Dave Dennis, 5. Kane Douglas, 4. Sitaleki Timani, 3. Sekope Kepu, 2. Tatafu Polota-Nau, 1. Benn Robinson

16. John Ulugia, 17. Jeremy Tilse, 18. Dean Mumm, 19. Lopeti Timani, 20. Rocky Elsom, 21. Sarel Pretorius, 22. Daniel Halangahu

Certainly Brumbies in this one. They had a good tour of SA and will be bloody excited about translating that form into a home win over a bitter rival. Wow, this may actually be an Aussie derby worth watching as the Waratahs weren’t that bad last week against the Crusaders.

Saturday: Sharks vs Highlanders 17:05

TheBounce says: Sharks by 5

Crackerometer: 7

Sharks:

15: Louis Ludik 14: JP Pietersen 13: Paul Jordaan 12: Tim Whitehead 11: Lwazi Mvovo 10: Patrick Lambie 9: Charl McLeod 8: Keegan Daniel 7: Marcell Coetzee 6: Jacques Botes 5: Anton Bresler 4: Steven Sykes 3: Jannie du Plessis/Wiehahn Herbst 2: Bismarck du Plessis 1: Tendai Mtawarira

Replacements:

16: Craig Burden 17: Wiehahn Herbst/Jannie du Plessis 18: Peter-Steph du Toit 19: Jean Deysel 20: Ryan Kankowski 21: Meyer Bosman 22: Frederic Michalak

Highlanders:

15: Ben Smith 14: Kade Poki 13: Tamati Ellison 12: Shaun Treeby 11: Hosea Gear 10: Mike Delany 9: Aaron Smith 8: Nasi Manu 7: Doug Tietjens 6: Adam Thomson 5: Jarrad Hoeata 4: Josh Bekhuis 3: Chris King 2: Andrew Hore 1: Jamie Mackintosh

Replacements:

16: Jason Rutledge 17: Ma’afu Fia/Jacob Ellison 18: Culum Retallick 19 Elliot Dixon 20: Jimmy Cowan 21: Chris Noakes  22: Kurt Baker

Tough one to call this. The Highlanders showed last week that they may not be a tough as we thought they would be trailing 30-9 against the Cheetahs. Yes they went on to win, but a lot of that was down to the Cheetahs letting the game slip. Sharks will be more structured, less threatening, but more structured and I think that will lead to a much needed win for the home side.

Saturday: Cheetahs vs Force 19:10

TheBounce says: Cheetahs by 11

Crackerometer: 7

Cheetahs:

15 Hennie Daniller, 14 Cameron Jacobs, 13 Robert Ebersohn, 12 Andries Strauss, 11 Willie le Roux, 10 Sias Ebersohn, 9 Tewis de Bruyn, 8 Philip van der Walt, 7 Justin Downey, 6 Heinrich Brussow, 5 Izak van der Westhuizen, 4 George Earle, 3 WP Nel, 2 Adriaan Strauss (captain), 1 Coenie Oosthuizen

Replacements: 16 Hercu Liebenberg, 17 Trevor Nyakane, 18 Andries Ferreira, 19 Ashley Johnson, 20 Piet van Zyl, 21 Riaan Smit, 22 Philip Snyman

Force:

15. Alifeleti Mafi, 14. Samu Wara, 13. Nick Cummins, 12. Winston Stanley, 11. Napolioni Nalaga, 10. David Harvey, 9. Brett Sheehan, 8. Matthew Hodgson, 7. David Pocock (captain), 6. Richard Brown, 5. Nathan Sharpe, 4. Toby Lynn, 3. Salesi Ma’afu, 2. Nathan Charles, 1. Pekahou Cowan
Replacements:

16. Elvis Taione, 17. Salesi Manu, 18. Phoenix Battye, 19. Locky McCaffrey, 20. Josh Holmes, 21. Ben Seymour, 22. Rory Sidey

After last week’s depressing loss, it’s a good thing that the Cheetahs have the Force this weekend. A win will do them wonders here, but whether or not Sias Ebersohn will overcome that miss is another thing all together.

Sunday: Crusaders vs Reds 07:10

TheBounce says: Crusaders by 13

Crackerometer: 7

Crusaders:

15: Israel Dagg 14: Sean Maitland/Adam Whitelock 13: Robbie Fruean 12: Dan Carter 11: Zac Guildford 10: Tom Taylor 9: Andy Ellis 8: Kieran Read 7: Matt Todd 6: George Whitelock 5: Tom Donnelly 4: Luke Romano 3: Owen Franks 2: Corey Flynn 1: Ben Franks

Replacements:

16: Ben Funnell 17: Wyatt Crockett 18: Sam Whitelock 19: Richie McCaw 20: Willie Heinz 21: Ryan Crotty 22: Tom Marshall

Reds:

15: Luke Morahan 14: Dom Shipperley 13: Anthony Faingaa 12: Mike Harris 11: Digby Ioane 10: Ben Lucas 9: Will Genia 8: Scott Higginbotham 7: Liam Gill 6: Jake Shatz 5: James Horwill 4: Rob Simmons 3: James Slipper 2: James Hansen 1: Greg Holmes

Replacements:

16: Saia Faingaa 17: Albert Anae 18: Adam Wallace-Harrison 19: Radike Samo 20: Eddie Quirk 21: Nick Frisby 22: Rod Davies

As expected the Crusaders are starting to kick into gear and will therefore have no real problems against the Reds this week. It’s almost annoying how they start slow but always come good when needed.

BYE for Stormers
