The Aussies are claiming to being a better place now and looking forward to the challenge of the Boks. Bollocks! They are a mess right now and are just happy to be away from home and the pressure of their public and press.
The Boks need to win this one and win it good, earlier we spoke about what they need to do to win the Rugby Championship this year, so they will know the importance of putting the Aussies away here.
Newlands isn’t exactly the place for that though historically, so a pretty super human effort will be needed from our boys on Saturday.
Bismarck is benched for this one. Bit of a kak call, but if it means he is fit and raring to go for the All Black clash next week then so be it. Strauss is never a bad inclusion, and this competition for selection with Bismarck is only making him even better.
Fourie Du Preez is back in the mix as Ruan Pienaar moves (slowly) to the bench. Great news this, allowing the best no.9 we have ever had to do his thing and get an extended run ahead of next week.
Otherwise, it is a settled and balanced team, and one that will be all over the Aussies on Saturday like bad press on James O’Connor.
