It’s Friday! But not just any Friday, it is the first Friday of December and also the birthday of yours truly. Now I’m not one to make a fuss of such things, but it is quite a special birthday so in recognition of this I have managed to secure not 1 but 2 prizes for this week’s Beat the Caption! Thanks to Cell C you have two chances to win Rugby World Cup 2011 on XBOX, so that means that today’s pic needs to be relevant to the prize. Let me see, Victor just retired from International rugby, and Bryce Lawrence was just named Ref of the Year in New Zealand. I guess the pic below will do nicely…

I dare you to go and have a beer in Hatfield next year.
So, you know the drill, place your captions in the comments section and you can win…

So Sachin failed to get his 100th international 100 today. Out on 94 against an average bowling attack on a batsman’s wicket, it was a bit of an anti-climax really. But hey, we don’t like to dwell on the negatives here on TheBounce, so best we up the spirits again by featuring the Little Master in today’s Beat the Caption!

“Let me get this straight…you haven’t had lipo, you and Liz don’t go to the same doc for botox and you haven’t had your tombstones whitened?…Ya and Shastri doesn’t always state the bloody obvious..”
Well done to ‘KingDong’ this week’s winner with the above effort. He wins…

Yesterday we ran a competition whereby one lucky winner played the #CastleLingo game and won himself two tickets to the next Castle Lager Locker Room Session with the Proteas. Daryl Viljoen and a mate will be joining me next Tuesday as we sink some of Charles Glass’s finest with the Proteas, but don’t feel envious, I have ANOTHER double ticket to give away today. Now how the #CastleLingo game works is that you have to make a sentence describing a Proteas fan moment using at least one of the following #CastleLingo words: Dude, Heita, Bru, Sharp-sharp or Lekker. Now to make it extra festive, today’s winner will need to use #CastleLingo to Beat the Caption!
So with your best funnies, and a drop of #CastleLingo – it’s time to Beat the Caption!

Like no Dar dude, I know you said 'not out' but that wasn't a very lekker decision.
Answers in the comments section please. Winner announced at 4pm today. Terms and conditions below.

I know it isn’t Friday, and I did have good intentions of holding this back until then, but seeing as it is Gary Player’s 76th birthday today (1 Nov) it is only fair we do this now. I mean Gary isn’t just another sporting legend, he is Gary Player. So for this week we shall run an extended ‘Beat the Caption!’ and announce the winner as per usual on Friday. So go ahead, do the Black Knight proud and Beat the Caption!

It’s Currie Cup Final weekend and what a match we have ahead of us! The Lions will run out to one of the rarest things in world sport, a sold out Ellis Park. Straight away you think about young Elton Jantjies and the pressure on his young shoulders as he looks make this game his own and show that he is indeed one for the future. With Carlos Spencer right behind him providing much needed guidance for the biggest domestic occasion, it is only fitting that this week’s Beat the Caption is based on the below picture. So, let’s Beat the Caption!

Just a reminder, I booked the spot closest to the camera for the Haka mate.
