It’s been a while, but #BeatTheCaption is back! The Stormers vs Bulls rivalry is a fierce one, so apply your smarts to beating the caption to this priceless pic of Bulls fan Kurt Darren and I squaring up during our recent golf match.

Obeliks had lost a lot of weight 6 weeks into his Pierre Spies challenge and felt somewhat threatened by the gigantic Smurf!

Well done Bruce M – you win the Hazards of your choice!

Honourable mentions to Mike and Jaco.

What a weekend and what a result for the Sharks who subdued the Bulls with a 16-12 win after overcoming the rain, the pressure and the bees. They will host Western Province next weekend after they completely flattened the Cheetahs 31-7. Predictable the Proteas beat Zimbabwe in both ODI’s over the weekend but the bowling remains a worry with the minnows getting over 250 on both occasions. Arsenal won, Man Utd and Chelsea drew and Liverpool lost 2-0 to Everton. Finally Bangladesh beat New Zealand, again, to win their one series 4-0, how bloody piss poor are those black caps!

Good morning and happy Monday to ya.

Super 14 came to a close and the mighty Bulls are champions again. They were simply too good for the Stormers and with Fourie Du Preez showing again that he is the best no.9 ever, they controlled the game from the start. Amla whacked another century but Proteas left it to the last ball to win the 4th ODI against the Windies. Hamilton finally won a GP, Samoa won the IRB 7′s title – SA lost to Scotland and Luke Donald won the Madrid Masters after a four year title drought. Oh and only 10 days to the World Cup!

World's best - Fourie Du Preez.

It was a weekend characterized by a Super Saturday. The Bulls swept the Crusaders aside in Soweto, the Stormers did much the same to the Waratahs setting up a dream SA Super 14 final. Blitz Bokke couldn’t carry on the winning way though losing to Australia in the IRB 7’s final in London. Graeme and his boys dominated the hot and cold Windies in the first ODI and Inter won the Champions league with a special win over Bayern Munich. Ernie took abuse for the Wentworth re-design but Simon Kahn didn’t mind winning the BMW PGA by a one shot.
